A PDF called “Comprehensive Assessment” boasted nine evaluation categories but every box listed N/A, zero stars, no events, no sources. This shell is not an edge case; it represents a habit spreading through Vietnamese football media, where a framework is treated as finished work. A model without input cannot produce insight; a formation without players cannot produce goals. Vietnamese football today is ready for xG, PPDA and pressing, but data without sources becomes decoration. Empty stadiums during COVID were an honest mirror: a personal sample of 245 Bundesliga and K League matches showed home-win rates dropping from about 55 percent to around 42 percent. Not because players lost talent, but because noise had been hiding structure. The same test applies to writing. A scouting model that overvalues youth metrics and never enters the dressing room is guessing. I may be wrong: an empty file might be a privacy filter or a first gate. Yet when such a file is published as “comprehensive analysis,” it trains readers to accept silent emptiness as expertise. Vietnam has too many talented writers being replaced by generic content pipelines.
